Webinar: Extending Summer’s Bounty by Jim Gerrish

Extending Summer’s Bounty

How to use the summer to fall transition to set yourself up for year-round grazing

Together with Stockman Grass Farmer, we presented another educational session with grazing guru, Jim Gerrish from American GrazingLands Services.

With the growing season well underway, we need to start planning for the cooler months ahead when there’s no longer an abundance of grass. In Kick the Hay Habit, grazing expert Jim Gerrish challenges graziers to re-think the way animals are fed by leveraging what they’ve already got – land, the natural environment, and animals. By applying the principles laid out in his book, as well as new insights gained since then, Jim shared his deep experience in transitioning businesses from one that’s heavily reliant on hay to a more sustainable model that drives better production and profits.
